An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. The concert, which features a performance from the Blue Meanies, was moved due to poor field conditions. Eastchester Dad Looks To Reduce Charges In Car Accident That Killed Three WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Eastchester father, whose daughter was the driver in a fatal car accident in Pennsylvania last Labor Day weekend, is looking to have the most serious charges against him dismissed. Michael Ware, 54, is looking to get the charges of involuntary manslaughter, child endangerment and four counts of reckless endangerment dismissed, according to the Bucks County Courier Times. Croton Police Gathering Evidence In Lacey Carr Death Probe CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Croton police are gathering evidence as they investigate the death of 6-year-old Lacey Carr. "We're still waiting for evidence to come back," Detective Sgt. John Nikotopolis said. "Hopefully I can tell you more next week."  Nikotopolis declined to discuss any details of the investigation, including whether a toxicology report has been completed.
