Employee Charged With Stealing $25K From Dunkin' Donuts In Cortlandt CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Cortlandt woman was charged with grand larceny on Monday after reportedly stealing more than $25,000 from the Dunkin Donuts she worked at, according to New York State Police.  Jessica Vargas, 36, allegedly stole the money while working at the Albany Post Rd. location between December 2015 and January of this year, police said.  Vargas was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court before Honorable Gerald Klein and was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. She is due to return to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Friday, Feb. 5, police said.

Man Charged With Felony DWI In I-287 Stop WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Stamford man with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Interstate 287 on Saturday, Jan. 30, according to officials.  Daniel F. Gomez-Ayora, 31, was pulled over for multiple traffic violations. Subsequent investigation led troopers to believe Gomez-Ayora was intoxicated at the time, police said.  Gomez-Ayora refused to submit to a breath test after being taken in.
