Ridgefield Park Artist Paints Oradell's Blauvelt Mansion ORADELL, N.J. -- Ridgefield Park artist Theresa Troise Heidel donated a water color painting of the Blauvelt Mansion to the "Save the Blauvelt Mansion" committee recently. Plans for the use of the painting will be posted on the "Save the Blauvelt Mansion" Facebook page. The Blauvelt Mansion is located on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

Cliffside Park Cheerleaders Take Home National Title CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- The Cliffside Park Recreation Competitive Cheerleading team took home Grand National Champions honors at a competition in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Feb. 20. The squad placed first in their division and also tallied the highest score of the session to win the title.  It marks the second consecutive year The Raiders Elite won, securing a paid bid to the U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach this spring.

Park Ridge High Theater Players Presents 'You're A Good Man Charlie Brown' PARK RIDGE, N.J. --  The Park Ridge High School Little Theater Players will present "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" starting on March 10.  The play is based on the classic comic strip "Peanuts," by Charles Schulz.  Shows will be held on March 10 through March 12. Ridgewood Montessori Student Visit Area Businesses For Occupation Week RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Children from the Ridgewood Montessori Learning Center took a field trip to several area businesses as part of Occupation Week on Friday, Feb. 19.Students first went to the Kings Shopping Center and got to talk with employees in several departments like produce, dairy, fish and the baker in order to learn what each department does.  After the Kings tour the children went to visit the Lisa Thomas Salon where Ms. Lucy, a hairdresser, showed them all of the tools she uses to do her job on a daily basis.
