2 Putnam School Districts Rank Among State's Best
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two Putnam County school districts are among the 100 best in New York, according to the education website Niche.
Haldane Central School District, with two schools in its district, drew an A ranking from Niche to draw the No. 56 ranking.

HACKENSACK, N.J. – Barbara “Bobbi” A. (Monaco) Glover of Hackensack, died suddenly Wednesday, Dec. 30. She was 64.
Born in New York City and raised in Lodi, she resided in Hackensack for 17 years. She was a receptionist with Mill Gardens Assisted Living in Midland Park for six years. Previously, she was employed with George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. She was an animal lover and baker and enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Norwalk Man Charged With Heroin Possession, Assault On Officer
NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly ran from police after they tried to search him following complaints of narcotics activity in the area of Soundview Avenue, reports The Hour.
Timothy Marriner, 21, was charged with assault on an officer, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, simple trespass, interfering with an officer and second-degree breach of peace, according to The Hour.

Putnam Students Earn Academic Honors At Harvey School
KATONAH, N.Y. – Several Putnam County students at The Harvey School in Katonah have earned academic honors for the final marking period of the fall term.
Students were recognized for earning a 4.0 grade point average or higher (Cavalier Scholar), a 3.7 GPA or higher (Headmaster's List) or at least a 3.3 GPA (Honor Roll). The students are:
