She was born Dec. 17, 1968, in Stamford, daughter of Dr. Ralph A. Pesiri and Patricia Moruke Pesiri.  She graduated from Sweet Briar College in Virginia and later received her master’s degree in art therapy at the College of New Rochelle. At the time of her death, she was employed as the admissions manager at the Childcare Learning Centers in Stamford. Bernard Alweil, 90, Former Norwalk Resident NORWALK, Conn. – Bernard J. Alweil, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Norwalk, died Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Emerald Health Care. He was 90. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Nathan Alweil and Rose (Koenig) Alweil, he retired to Jupiter, Fla., in 1990, moving there from Norwalk.  Prior to retiring, he was an advertising director for Caldor, where he met his wife, Diane.
