One Injured After Truck Crashes Into Home In Elizabeth: Authorities One person was injured in a chaotic scene after a two-vehicle crash resulted in a truck crashing into a home in Elizabeth on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 24, authorities said. At 5:58 a.m., the truck struck the car, which then hit a utility pole at Bellevue Street and West Grand Steet, a spokeswoman for the city said. The truck then crashed into a home at 800 West Grand Street, authorities said.  First responders along with PSEG were at the scene, authorities said. One person was transferred to a nearby hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

On Thursday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m., a woman reported she was walking northbound on the 50 block of Washington Street when a man dressed as Deadpool, wearing all red,  ran directly into her and struck her, possibly intentionally, Hoboken police said.
