Man Shot In Newark: Police A man was shot in Newark on the morning of Sunday, July 7, authorities said. At 10:43 a.m., police responded to Fourth Avenue and N. 13th Street and found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. The man was later taken to a nearby hospital,  Fragé said. Police are looking for two people for questioning after they left the scene and walked pass the victim as he lay on the ground, Fragé said. At 12:30 a.m., Jefferson Sanchez hit the two vehicles at the intersection of Newark and Hudson Streets, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. One Killed, One Wounded In Elizabeth Shooting, Prosecutor Says A 47-year-old man was fatally shot and a 51-year-old man was wounded in an Elizabeth shooting on Sunday, July 7, authorities said. In the early morning, police responded to the 400 block of Westminster Avenue and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said in a release. Man Wanted For Guttenberg Robbery Apprehended In Nebraska: Police A 46-year-old Staten Island resident was recently apprehended in Nebraska for a violent robbery he committed in Guttenberg in April, authorities said. In April, officers responded to a report of a robbery at 68th Street and John F.
