One Firefighter Injured In Two-Alarm Linden Fire: Police One firefighter was injured in a two-alarm blaze at an apartment complex in Linden on the morning of Sunday, July 14, authorities said. At 10:30 a.m., first responders were on scene at Hollywood Terrace Apartments in Linden on a report of a fire, Linden police said in a release. Firefighters were met with flames coming from the windows of both floors of the apartment on the 600 block of Academy Terrace, police said. Morris County Man Gets 15 Years For Shooting Wife In Head: Authorities A 79-year-old East Hanover resident was sentenced to 15 years in jail on Friday, July 12 after pleading guilty to shooting his wife in the head in 2020, authorities said. Three Teens Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Pursuit In Secaucus: Police Three teenagers were arrested on this week after stealing a vehicle and leading police on a pursuit last month in Secaucus, authorities said. Robbers Attempted To Break Into Vehicles, Steal Vespa: Hoboken PD Three people attempted to break into a garage and later steal a Vespa in Hoboken on Thursday, July 11, authorities said. At 9:40 p.m., three people were seen entering a garage on mini-motorcycles, attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. NJ Woman Who Dealt Meth, Cocaine Via FedEx Gets 10 Years, US Attorney Says A 32-year-old Newark woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Thursday, July 11, after being convicted of possessing cocaine and methamphetamine with intent to distribute, authorities said. Man Stole Generator, Gas Can During July 4 Parade Setup: Sparta PD A 65-year-old Sparta man was arrested and charged after he stole a generator and gas can during setup for a July 4 parade, authorities said.
