A major break in a sprawling parasite investigation has triggered a sweeping food recall stretching across more than half the country.
The Food and Drug Administration published a recall notice on Saturday, July 18, stating that Taylor Farms de Mexico is voluntarily removing all iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico from the US market due to possible Cyclospora contamination.

Parents are the top role models for children ages 4 to 12, according to a survey published Thursday, July 9, by Talker Research and commissioned by Kiddie Academy.
The survey of 2,000 parents found that children are most likely to look up to people in their everyday lives, according to Talker Research on behalf of Kiddie Academy.

Carmine G. Agnello, 40, will be allowed to report to federal prison on Sept. 18 as long as the surgery proceeds as scheduled on Aug. 3, Newsday reported.
