Man Charged With Stealing Tip Meant For North Castle Sanitation Department ARMONK, N.Y. -- Robert L. Fay, a 46-year-old Brewster resident, was arrested and charged in Armonk for allegedly stealing money meant for the North Castle Sanitation Department. Police said they received a report from a resident that someone had stolen cash from their property on Thursday, Dec. 24. The resident reported they had left cash in an envelope that was attached to their garbage cans as a holiday tip for sanitation workers, police said. Westchester Teen Faces Charges After Driving BMW Into Duck Pond CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- An Ossining teenager was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, a violation, after losing control on Bungalow Road and driving his BMW into Duck Pond in Croton Wednesday afternoon. Suspended Briarcliff Police Chief Retires BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff Manor Police Chief who was recently suspended has retired from the police force. Police Chief Norman Campion's retirement is effective on Dec. 31. Lt. Donald Gorey, who had been acting police chief during Campion's suspension will become the provisional police chief on Jan. 1.  Campion was suspended on Nov. 18 after the village decided to pursue disciplinary charges against him in August.
