Assemblyman Denny Farrell said the state should name the new Tappan Zee Bridge after former Governor Mario Cuomo, who served three terms, according to LoHud. Cuomo's son Andrew is currently governor. Ex-Mahopac Fire Treasurer Sentenced To Prison For Embezzling Millions MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Michael Klein, the former treasurer of the Mahopac Fire Department, was sentenced to 77 months (more than six years) in prison Wednesday for embezzling more than $5.7 million from the department and failing to report the income to the IRS. Klein, 49, lavished the embezzled money on himself, buying yachts, jewelry, and a second home in Florida, and then failed to report any of it on his tax returns, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Ossining Teen Taken In Custody By ICE Moved To Louisiana Detention Facility Diego Puma Macancela, the 19-year-old former Ossining High School student detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement nearly two weeks ago, has been moved to a detention facility in Louisiana. The move was confirmed by Neighbors Link, the Mount Kisco-based organization that is representing him. Macancela had been detained at the Orange County Correctional Facility with his mother.
