81-Unit Apartment Complex Unveiled In Elmsford WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The tenants of the Apex 290 in Elmsford have begun moving in. The $29 million 81-unit complex on 92,000 square feet at 290 East Main Street near Route 119 has been under construction for two years. A grand opening was held earlier this summer. The complex features a fitness center, and a 3,000 square foot rooftop deck with grilling stations. For pet owners, there is a 2,000 square foot outdoor pet park and an indoor pet grooming and washing station.

Terry Elsberry, St. Matthew’s Church Rector, Calls It A Career BEDFORD, N.Y. -- For the past 23 years, Terry Elsberry has seen people at their highest and lowest points. Elsberry, who lives in Greenwich, recently retired as rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Bedford after serving for 23 years. As rector, Elsberry oversaw a period of change for the church. It increased in parishioners and doubled the size of the parish house. It celebrated its bicentennial in 2010 and started a preschool and chamber music concert series.
