Sloop announced it is expanding and relocating their brewery to the former IBM campus in East Fishkill. The company said the 26,000 square foot facility will allow them to greatly increase production and expand their footprint in the area. Briarcliff Cheerleaders Head To Nationals BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff cheerleading squad is going to Disney World. The cheerleaders will be competing at the National High Scool Cheerleading Championship on Feb. 10-11 at Walt Disney World. The contest will be televised on ESPN. This is the first time Briarcliff is competing at nationals. The team qualified after competing at a regional competition in the Poconos.  The 15 cheerleaders, coached by Stephanie Georgioudakis, do a three-minute routine featuring cheers, stunting, and dancing.

Gov. Cuomo Unveils State Budget New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo unveiled his $168 billion 2018-2019 budget to lawmakers on Tuesday. Cuomo's budget includes a three-percent increase in funding for schools and a one-percent increase in funding for higher education. The budget also increases funding for capital projects by 14 percent and health care by three-percent. The budget also reduces spending on transportation, community colleges, mental hygiene and state agencies. Astrid Wray, 77, Mount Kisco MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. --  Astrid Margareta Svenson Wray died Saturday morning of pancreatic cancer in Mount Kisco. Wray was born on May 14, 1940, in Sweden. She worked at Northern Westchester Hospital Center and The Harvey School, Katonah, before becoming a full-time mother. She was a founding member of the local Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary where she held active duty at many offices for a time. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond F. Dutchess Gets $2.2 Million For Water Projects DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The state is helping Dutchess County improve its infrastructure and protect its land.  The county was awarded $2.2 million from the state Department of Environmental Conservation for three water quality improvement projects. The Town of Poughkeepsie is getting $28,063 to purchase and install mapping software that will be used to electronically map the existing town infrastructure. Man Harassed Yorktown Officer 32 Times, Police Say A 51-year-old Peekskill man was arrested and charged after police say he left 32 harassing messages for a police officer. Peter Bub was charged with 32 counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Police say the harassment occurred between June 14, 2017, and Nov. 29, 2017. Bub was located and arrested and was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on Jan. 13.
