Man Shot In Doorway In Jersey City: Authorities A 50-year-old Jersey City man was shot in the face in his doorway on Friday, Oct. 27, authorities said. Police arrived at 27 Grand Ave. at 9:56 p.m., Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office, said.
