A ticket purchased in Hackensack matched all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 31, winning $494,247. Man Wanted For Newark Murder Arrested In Texas: Police A 32-year-old man wanted for murder in Newark was arrested at a bus station in Texas on Saturday, Oct. 28, police said. Antwine King is wanted for the shooting death of Vincent Anderson, a 60-year-old New York City man on the 300 block of Renner Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 22, Laredo, Texas police said. He was taken into custody at a Greyhound bus station by the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force and Laredo police. Man Shot In Doorway In Jersey City: Authorities A 50-year-old Jersey City man was shot in the face in his doorway on Friday, Oct. 27, authorities said. Police arrived at 27 Grand Ave. at 9:56 p.m., Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office, said. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is in critical but stable condition, Wallace-Scalfione said. The investigation is ongoing, Wallace-Scalfione said.

Two Jersey City Men Busted After Handgun Found: Bayonne PD Two Jersey City residents were arrested on Saturday, Oct. 28 after Bayonne police discovered a handgun in a vehicle, authorities said. 16-Year-Old Tossed Fireworks At Jersey City Police: Authorities A 16-year-old was arrested and charged after he tossed fireworks at police attempting to break up a group of street racers on Sunday, Oct. 29, authorities said. Linden Wawa Celebrating Grand Opening Hoagie fans in Linden rejoice. Wawa announced it is holding a grand opening for its new Linden store at 800 W.
