Harvard Square Restaurant Offers Money For Skeleton Bandits A Harvard Square restaurant has a bone to pick with a couple that swiped an arm from the giant skeleton outside of the tiki bar earlier this week. Wusong Road posted a video of a couple posing for photos with the statue on Mt Auburn Street and rattling the bones overnight on Tuesday, Oct. 4. They finished the photoshoot around midnight and armed themselves with a piece of the skeleton as they left. The restaurant owners want it back. They have offered a $100 reward for anyone who can help them identify the bone burglars so they can reattach the arm to the decorative skeleton.

'This Is A Robbery, Honey': DNA Links Boston Man To Harvard Square Bank Heist A Boston man on parole for two 2017 bank robberies was indicted this week with robbing a Cambridge bank earlier this year, authorities said. Jalonni Shabazz, 40, of Jamaica Plain, was linked to the May 2 robbery of the TD Bank branch at Harvard Square after police found his DNA on a Brooklyn Dodgers hat the robber wore discarded near the scene, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said on Friday, Oct. 7. Boston Man Flew His Family To Connecticut For Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: Report It's hard to be a Krispy Kreme lover in the land of Dunkin' Donuts. For one Boston man, it meant loading his family in a plane bound for Connecticut to score his favorite sweet treat. A man only identified as Chase said he was stunned when he realized there were no Krispy Kreme stores in Boston, NBC reported. There are none in Massachusetts, Vermont, or New Hampshire. Woman Seriously Injured In Early Morning Boston Stabbing: Report A woman was seriously injured in an overnight stabbing in Boston on Friday, Oct. 7, authorities said. Police found the woman at the intersection of Centre and Lamartine streets just after midnight, Boston police said. They did not release her name. Officers believe the attack happened at the Jackson Square MBTA station, NBC Boston reported. Paramedics rushed the woman to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, but authorities did not have an update on her condition Friday afternoon.

Norwood School Employee On Leave After Allegedly Assaulting Student: Police An employee at a pre-K school in Norwood is on leave after they allegedly assaulted a student last week, authorities said. The employee of George F. Willett Early Childhood Center allegedly hit the child after taking them into a hallway at the school around 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, the Norwood School District said in a letter to parents.
