Six Teens Trapped In Tunnel Rescued In Central Mass: Police Six teens who got trapped in a diversion tunnel in a wooded area of Worcester County had to be rescued over the weekend. Auburn police said the teens had gone in the tunnel on Saturday but couldn't make their way out and needed rescue. Authorities pinged the teen's cell phones to find their locations, authorities said in a Facebook post. The teens were wet and cold, but no one was seriously injured, police said. Canton Man Who Swindled $1.1M From Lonely 'Mugus' Gets Over 4 Years In Prison: Feds A 43-year-old man who admitted to preying on vulnerable and lonely people online to swindle $1.1 million from them was sentenced to more than four years in federal prison, authorities said. Mark Arome Okuo, of Canton, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud and obstruction of justice earlier this year, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Man Dies A Day After Being Burned In Methuen House Fire: Fire Marshal A man who was hospitalized Friday night, April 14, after a fire broke out in the bedroom of his Methuen home has died, authorities said. Investigators believe smoking materials sparked the blaze on the third floor of the triple-decker at 97 Phillips St. Officials did not release the man's name. Brushfire Torches 36 Acres In Central Mass: Firefighters A Worcester County brush fire that began on Friday, April 14, burned throughout the night, but officials say it has been contained thanks to the work of 14 fire departments and more than 45 firefighters. Prostitution Sting Nabs 7 In Burlington: Police Seven men who believed they were meeting a prostitute they hired online at a Burlington motel got a surprise when only police answered the door, authorities said. The reverse sting was set into motion on Wednesday, April 12, when a female Burlington officer posing as a hooker posted an ad for sexual services on a site known for prostitution.
