Man Stabs Roommate To Death In Western Mass: Police A 63-year-old Springfield man was arrested on Thursday, July 27, after his roommate was stabbed to death earlier that morning, authorities said. Robert Woods, 63, is charged with murder in connection with the death, Springfield police said. 'Shcool' Zone: Central Mass Town Promises To Fix Misspelled Street Sign A contractor may have needed to spend more time in "shcool" after they inadvertently misspelled school on a giant road sign in Worcester County.
