2 Acton Police Officers Accused Of Inappropriate Conduct Resign From Department Two Acton police officers who were on leave for inappropriate conduct turned in their badges and resigned this week, city officials said. Teenager Charged In Gang Beating Of MBTA Bus Driver In Boston: Police Police arrested a 15-year-old and charged him with taking part in a gang beating of an Orange Line Shuttle Bus driver earlier this week, authorities said. The teenager was part of a group of about nine people on a bus Thursday, Sept. 1, that the driver kicked off for being unruly, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. 29-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed Walking Through Cambridge Parking Lot: Police A box truck hit and killed a 29-year-old pedestrian as he crossed through a parking lot in Cambridge earlier this week, authorities said. Matthew Barker was in a lot off State Street near Massachusetts Avenue Thursday night, Sept. 1, around 8:30 when a box truck for a local restaurant crashed into him, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced on Friday. East Longfellow Man Trafficked Enough Fentanyl To Kill 200,000 Users: Police Police arrested an East Longfellow man recently on charges of trafficking a large amount of fentanyl and firearm violation, federal authorities said. Carlos Gonzalez, 25, appeared for the first time in a Boston federal courtroom last month for allegedly bringing 400 grams of the synthetic opioid into Massachusetts, the Department of Justice said.
