$1.5M Embezzlement Case: Fairfield Woman Who Served As CFO Sentenced The former chief executive officer for a Fairfield County company will serve the next two years in prison after pleading guilty to embezzling $1.5 million, federal authorities said. She used the money on vacations, luxury cars, jewelry, and a time-share condominium, the prosecutor said. Carolina Guerreno, age 50, of the Town of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud last year and has agreed to reimburse her former company, the US Attorney General for Connecticut said. Missing Chicopee Teen Known To Frequent Springfield, Agawam: Police Chicopee police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 16-year-old who left her home early Wednesday morning, Feb. 8. Kristafina Tanner walked away from her home just after 3 p.m. Police are asking the public to contact them if they see her as her family is worried. Hunter Finds Man's Remains In Westfield Park 3 Years After He Vanished: Police A hunter looking for game in a Westfield park found more than he wanted when he unearthed the remains of a man who disappeared three years ago, authorities said. Timothy Kolendo went missing in November 2019.
