She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Sign Up For Fair Lawn's 4th Annual Purim 5K Fun Run, 1-Mile Walk FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Join the Sisterhood of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel for its 4th annual Purim 5K Fun Run and 1-mile walk.The event is at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 6, with the start and finish at the FLJC/CBI parking lot. The race is chip timed. There will be T-shirts for the first 100 entrants.  All the proceeds go to the TIKVAH program of Camp Ramah, an overnight camp for children with special needs.  Come in costume. Ossining Students Auditioning For Open Call Of Broadway's 'School Of Rock' OSSINING, N.Y. -- Two Ossining kids--Jade Marie Kielb and Chris Grant--will be auditioning for School of Rock Open Call on Broadway at the end of February.They are both students at Mike Risko Music in Ossining. Jade studies voice and piano and she has just started studying the bass for the audition. Chris studies drums and he is doing some singing lessons to prepare him for the audition.  They have to be able to sing 18 bars of a contemporary song. Increase Miller Kindergarten Students Perform 'Froggy's First Kiss' LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Kindergarten students at Katonah-Lewisboro’s Increase Miller Elementary School celebrated Valentine’s Day early on Feb. 10 with a special performance for their parents.As teacher Colleen Walsh read the story “Froggy’s First Kiss” out loud, students added special sound effects to the account and performed Valentine’s Day-themed songs throughout the story. George Fischer Middle School's 'Robotic Rams' Take Part In Tournament CARMEL, N.Y. -- The George Fischer Middle School Robotic Rams in Carmel participated in the annual first LEGO League Regional Tournament at Poughkeepsie Day School.The competition was held on Saturday, Feb. 6. The competition included twelve middle school teams from Plattsburgh to Scarsdale.  The Teams competed in four categories: Robot performance, where the robot is programmed to autonomously solve different missions with various levels of difficulty.
