She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Stratford Democratic Town Committee Chairman Petruccelli Leaving Post STRATFORD, Conn. -- Leonard Petruccelli, who has spent the past two years as chairman of the Democratic Town Committee in Stratford, will step down from that post in March, according to CT Post. Petruccelli succeeded Richard J. Buturla in 2014. As for a successor, Petruccelli said that he will recommend Dick Brown from District 8, CT Post said. According to Petruccelli, Brown has done a successful job of assisting candidates and raising money for the committee, CT Post said.
