Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Israel Defense Forces Band Performing At JCC of Harrison HARRISON, N.Y. -- The IDF Band will be in concert Monday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Harrison.Ticket prices include $180 sponsorship (includes four tickets, a CD and a meet and greet with the IDF instructor and soldiers) at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $18 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and children. William Cottle School In Eastchester Seeks Book Swap Donations, Volunteers EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Book swap donations for William E Cottle School in Eastchester are requested through March 12. The book swap is also in need of volunteers.The book swap will take place March 30-April 1. Books must be K-5 grade specific. After the swap, librarians will sort the donations and keep acceptable books. Donations can't be in poor condition. Director Of Human Services Retires From Redding's Heritage Center REDDING, Conn. -- Gail Schiron has retired as the director of human services at Redding's Heritage Center. The mission of the Heritage Center is to provide Redding seniors with a place to come together in a friendly environment where they may participate in a range of cultural and social activities, and to seek advice and recommendations for available support services. Ridgefield Police Leads Forum On Alcohol Awareness, Education RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Police Department recently held an alcohol awareness and education forum for local permittees at The Lounsbury House.The forum on Tuesday, Feb. 23, covered the prevention of underage sales, fake I.D. recognition and Connecticut liquor laws. This film will be shown from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 7 in the library's community room. Sign Up For Garfield's Minor League Spring Baseball Program GARFIELD, N.J. -- The Boys & Girls Club of Garfield Coaches Association will have registration for its Minor League Baseball Program through March 22. The baseball league is for kids ages 6-8. To participate, children can't turn 9 years old before April 30. It costs $60 to join for Boys and Girls Club members and $75 for non-members.
