Sandra Diamond Fox has been a journalist since 2005, working for The News-Times and The Redding Pilot prior to coming to the Daily Voice. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Eastchester SEPTA Fair Guides Parents To Resources EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester SEPTA Resource Fair takes place Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Eastchester High School media center.There will be an informal gathering of camps, sports organizations, social groups and a host of other activities geared toward special needs students, including ADD/ADHD and autistic students of all ages. Norwalk Community College Kicks Off County-Wide Giving Day NORWALK, Conn. -- On Thursday, March 10, the Norwalk Community College Foundation will kick off Fairfield County Giving Day, a 24-hour county-wide activity whose aim is to “give where you live.” The program is largely an online effort, given its 24-hour duration and overnight aspects. Briarcliff Track, Field Athletes Head To State Championships At Cornell BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School indoor track athletes Ryan Gallagher and Jack Zimmerman have qualified for the New York State Indoor Track and Field Championships. Zimmerman will compete in shot put after setting a new school record of 52 feet and one inch. He also will compete in the weight throw, after qualifying with a throw of 61 feet and 2.5 inches. Weston Historical Society Serves Up A Taste Of Tequila Fundraiser WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston Historical Society has teamed up with Diageo’s Don Julio Brand to present its second annual Tequila Tasting fundraiser from 7:30-11 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at the Weston Historical Society Museum.The tasting will benefit the society’s preservation work and support its educational programs and upcoming exhibits. Brookfield Officer Steps Down From Position To Become Stay At Home Mother BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Officer Marsha Lowe will be stepping down from her position with the Brookfield Police Department to become a stay-at-home mother.Lowe and her husband Pete are the parents of a baby girl. She has been with the Brookfield Police Department since January of 2008 and was a rescue diver on the department's dive team. She will continue her law enforcement career as a part-time police officer with the Prospect Police Department.
