Students At Holmes School In Darien Celebrate Earth Week With Balloon, Show DARIEN, Conn. -- Students at Holmes School in Darien celebrated Earth Week with a visit from the Earth Balloon and with the annual Holmes School Garbage Art Show. The Earth Balloon is an inflatable earth made from high resolution satellite images with true to life colors. Students enter the Earth Balloon to learn about the planet from an Earth Balloon instructor.  The art show exhibits projects made by Holmes School students from materials that would otherwise end up in the garbage, in celebration of Earth Day.
