Rutherford Public Schools Launch Preschool Program RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Rutherford Public School District is set to open an integrated preschool program for three and four year olds next year, Schools Superintendent Jack Hurley said. Ridgewood Looking Into Agreement With Bergen County Improvement Authority RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — The Ridgewood Village Council voted 4-1 in favor of introducing an ordinance to enter into an agreement with the Bergen County Improvement Authority to build a 300 car parking deck on Hudson Street at Tuesday night's public meeting. The vote came after a 3-2 vote by Council in favor of a $12.3 million bond ordinance to build a 400 car parking deck.  A bond ordinance needs four votes to pass.
