Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing 26-Year-Old Elmont Man Police on Long Island are asking the public for help locating a missing man.  Zain Qamar, age 26,  was last seen in Elmont on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. He is described as being 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and a black-colored beard, according to Nassau County Police. He was last seen wearing black colored pants, a blue shirt, and black shoes. Suspect At Large After Burglary At Plainview Gas Station Police are investigating a burglary at a Long Island gas station. It happened between Friday, Sept. 23, and Saturday, Sept. 24, in Plainview, Nassau County Police said. An unknown person entered the Mobil station at 220 Manetto Hill Road and removed an unknown amount of US currency, cigarette cartons and Lottery tickets, said police.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction. Alert Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old Hudson Valley Girl A 14-year-old girl has gone missing and authorities in New York are asking the public's help in locating her. Amayalise Perez was last seen in Orange County leaving a friend's house in Middletown on Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to police in the Town of Wallkill, where she is a resident. She is 5-foot-2 with "honey brown" hair and brown eyes, Wallkill Police said. Anyone with information on her whereabout is asked to contact the Town of Wallkill Police Department at 845-692-6757.
