Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Crash Involving Overturned Truck Shuts Down Route 35 Stretch In Somers A crash involving an overturned truck has shut down a stretch of a busy roadway in the region. ‘Immediately Stop Using': 2.2 Million Exercise Bikes Recalled After Injuries Reported A recall has been issued for 2.2 million exercise bikes until they can be repaired following multiple reports of injuries. Smoke From Canadian Wildfires Causing Hazy Skies In Much Of Northeast The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies on Thursday, May 11, but smoke from Canadian wildfires over Ontario has spread across much of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, resulting in hazy conditions. 43-Year-Old From Moriches Dies After Crashing Into Tree, Pole In Mastic Beach A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that happened in broad daylight on a busy Long Island roadway. ID Released For 26-Year-Old Found Shot, Killed In New Cassel The identity has been released of the victim of a fatal shooting on Long Island. Police responded to a 911 call for shots fired in New Cassel in the vicinity of 166 State Street at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, May 7. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Nassau County Police said.
