Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Massive Recall Issued For Nearly 1,000,000 Pressure Cookers Due To Burn Hazard A massive recall has been issued for a popular brand of pressure cookers due to a burn hazard. A total of 930,000 Insignia pressure cookers have incorrect volume markings on the inner pot, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on Thursday, Oct. 26. "This can cause consumers to overfill the pot and hot food and liquids to be ejected when the pressure cooker is vented using the quick-release method or opened while its contents are pressurized, posing a burn hazard to consumers," the commission said. ID Released For Service Station Employee Struck, Killed By Jeep In Wantagh The identity of an auto service center employee who was killed after he was struck by a jeep while on the job has been released.
