The American Eagle flight was traveling from Arlington, Virginia, to Albany, New York, when it diverted to Harrisburg International Airport after smoke was reported inside the cabin on Monday, Aug. 17, according to an airport spokesperson. Emergency crews were dispatched to HIA for an Alert 2 around 9:35 p.m., according to dispatch and airport officials.
