Official Oppression, Harassment Charges Filed Against PA Tax Collector: Prosecutors
A Pennsylvania township tax collector is facing criminal charges tied to an alleged dispute with her neighbors, authorities announced.
Tina Koren, 65, of Whitehall, has been charged with misdemeanor Official Oppression and Harassment, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said.
The charges will move forward after a preliminary hearing was held Tuesday, June 30, where a judge ruled there was enough evidence for the case to proceed to Lehigh County Court, prosecutors said.

Two Brooklyn residents — Sevak Kocharian and Arkadiy Pastin — and one New Jersey man, Jashanpreet Singh, were among the eight people charged in the wide-ranging scheme, which stole everything from electronics to liquor to clothing, the Justice Department said.
