Hudson Valley Man Admits To Having Sex With Child — Now Faces Over Decade In Prison
A 20-year-old Orange County man faces nearly 20 years in prison after admitting to engaging in sexual conduct with a young child, prosecutors said.
New Hampton resident Joshua Davis-Harrington, 20, pleaded guilty on Monday, June 29, in Orange County Court to first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, the Orange County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, July 1.
According to the DA's Office, Davis-Harrington admitted engaging in two or more acts of sexual conduct, including at least one instance of sexual intercourse, with a child younger than 11 years old.

A 62-year-old retired Army staff sergeant from New Jersey was shot and killed in Florida following a dispute over a parking space on Tuesday, June 30, authorities said.
At 12:28 p.m., officers responded to a Walmart in North Lauderdale and found Bart Diguglielmo, a Hammonton native, suffering from a gunshot wound, Broward Sheriff's Office said. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
