I think the win is great. I do not like the fact that the attached form is on School letter head. Many other teams have won State and district titles and the school has not looked to raise money to honor them. If the team or parents wants to reward their children for this big win it should be done without the school being involved unless this is done for all teams that win this level of a game. I agree that out of town organizations and for profit should pay a higher fee for usage. Mr. Goulet makes a good point that there are several in town organizations that spend thousands of dollars a year to keep Town fields and parks clean and in good shape. There should be a way to factor this into any usage fees for using town facilities. Increasing the fees to high for local non profit groups might force them to not offer as many programs or have to increase fees to local residents. View Comment
