NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - Nate Pajka of Douglas crushed a home run Tuesday to punctuate the Northbridge American Legion Baseball Club's 5-2 win over Auburn Post in a rematch of Thursday's outing, also won by Northbridge.

Pajka's titanic shot, his second in as many days, traveled out to the Northbridge Middle School track.

Matt Niejadlik took the mound for the home team and picked up his second victory over Auburn. With the win, Northbridge’s record goes to 5-3 while Auburn falls to 2-5.

Northbridge travels to Sturbridge on Thursday for a game against the Sturbridge Legion at 5:30 p.m. at Tantasqua High School. Northbridge then goes to Marlborough for a double-header against the Marlborough Legion at Marlborough High School, off of Rt. 20. The first game gets under way at 11 a.m. Northbridge then heads home for a 1 p.m. Sunday game against Wachusett.

A Wednesday game indicated on the team's printed schedule is an error. That game against North County is set for July 20.
