Auburn Students Make Dean's List At Worcester Polytechnic Institute

AUBURN, Mass. - Three Auburn residents were among 1,286 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute named to the Dean's List for academic excellence during the spring semester.

• Anika Blodgett, a senior majoring in biochemistry

• Gimo Barrera, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering

• Antoinette Pacifico, a freshman majoring in bioinformatics

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
