AUBURN, Mass. —  Nomination papers for Auburn town offices to be available at the Town Clerk's Office on Feb. 1.

In addition to the six seats up for contest for the May 21 election, including one seat on the selectboard and one on the school committee, Auburn town meeting members are needed in all five precincts.

The last day for all candidates to file nomination papers with the Registrars for certification of signatures is Wednesday, April 3.

Nomination papers will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s office until 5 p.m.

Fifty certified signatures are required for all offices except town meeting member, which requires ten certified signatures from their own precinct.

Thursday, April 18 will be the last day for a candidate to withdraw nomination papers.

Additionally, the last day to register voters before the annual town election is Wednesday May 1. Registration in the Town Clerk’s office will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

  • One Moderator for one year.
  • One School Committee Member for three years.

Town Meeting Members:



Precinct One: 8 to be elected for three years.

Precinct Two: 8 to be elected for three years. One to be elected for one year-unexpired term.

Precinct Three: 1 to be elected for three years.

Precinct Four: 8 to be elected for 8 to be elected for three years.

Precinct Five: 8 to be elected for three years. One to be elected for one year-unexpired term.
