AUBURN, Mass. — Auburn's registered Democrats will caucus Feb. 13 at the Lorraine Gleick Nordgren Senior Center to elect delegates to the State Convention.

All Auburn voters registered as Democrats as of Dec. 31 are eligible to run for a delegate position and participate in the election.

Delegates elected at the caucus will attend the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret.

Those not elected as delegates or alternates at the caucus who meet the qualifications can apply to be add-on delegates in youth, minority and disabled categories.

A Platform Convention will be held Saturday, July 13, at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, where Democratic delegates from across Massachusetts will help adopt  grass-roots and party-building initiatives to prepare for elections in 2014.

The Auburn caucus is set for 6:45 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Lorraine Gleick Nordgren Senior Center, 4 Goddard Drive, Auburn.
