AUBURN, Mass. – Santa Claus will be making a last minute tour of Auburn Dec. 22 before he delivers presents a few days later.
The Auburn Fire Department will be bringing Santa around town on a fire truck three days before Christmas, which is always a fun tradition for kids and families. The Santa tour has been going on since 1954, said Fire Chief Stephen Coleman.
The tour starts at approximately 11 a.m. from the Drury Square Fire Station, wrapping up around 9 p.m. When the truck goes through the streets, Santa throws candy for the kids.
The following is the Santa tour route. Approximate times are listed next to some of the places or streets on the route. Coleman asks that residents be patient as this is all dependent upon traffic and times are subject to change.
