AUBURN, Mass. – The Auburn Police Department is reporting that a dozen motor vehicles were broken into early Tuesday morning in the Pakachoag neighborhood.
According to Detective Sergeant Jeffrey Lourie, the incidents took place on Pakachoag Street, Manor Road, Meadowbrook Road, Southold Road, Old Farm Road and Malvern Road.
Lourie said cash, change, debit and credit cards, CDs and prescription medication were reported stolen. In one car, the gas tank was siphoned.
The Auburn Police wants the public to take steps to prevent any future break-ins.
“Please don’t leave valuables in your vehicle, especially in plain view,” Lourie said. “Also, secure your vehicles whenever possible.”

I have a feeling these kids don't bend their hats.
I have lived in auburn for 27 years ,and i cant catch them. I dont blame the police. We need cameras on are house.
with all the manpower, equipment and resources the police have, and they can never catch one of these petty punk thieves that have been ripping people off in the Pakachoag area for years is pretty pathetic. I guess it's easier to sit on RT 12 and shoot fish in a barrel all night
