CHARLTON, Mass. - Sydney Meaghan Webb-Mayhew, infant daughter of Patrick D. and Lindsay M. Webb-Mayhew, died peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at UMASS Memorial Hospital NICU.
Besides her parents, she leaves her paternal grandparents Dennis and Diane Mayhew of Westfield; maternal grandparents Christine and Raymond Webb of Charlton; paternal great-grandmother Mary Pettengill of Westfield; maternal great grandmother Bessie Morgan of Auburn; three aunts, Lauren and Shannon Mayhew and Sabrina Webb; and an uncle Eric Webb.
Sydney was born in Worcester on May 9, 2012. She was resilient, persistent, and full of life, which any of those who were lucky enough to meet her could easily recognize. She overcame many towering odds with her feisty attitude and undeniable personality. The family would like to thank the UMASS Memorial Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit staff for their compassionate care and support. Funeral services will be private.
