Obituary: Kathy A. (Pike) Becker, 52

AUBURN, Mass. - Kathy A. (Pike) Becker, 52, of Auburn, died Sunday, Dec.16, 2012 in her home, after an illness, with her family at her side.

She leaves her husband of 28 years, Martin C. Becker, and their children, Patrick Becker, Haley Becker, and Alexandra Becker, all of Auburn, and her brothers; Gary Pike and his wife Debra, Greg Pike, Geoffrey Pike and his wife Brenda, and David DeLollis all of Auburn, Glenn Pike and his wife Cheryl of Spencer, George Pike of Worcester, Daniel DeLollis of Ayer, and Edward DeLollis and his wife Debe of Vista, California, her two sisters; Karen Parker and her husband Stephen of Auburn, and Amy Kathman and her husband Paul of Holden, her sister-in-laws; Christine Becker of Lynn, Catherine Merrick and her husband James of Mansfield, CT and AnneMarie Becker of Canton and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Helen R. (King) DeLollis, George P. Pike and her step-father, Victor S. DeLollis. She was a graduate of Auburn High School and Worcester State College. Mrs. Becker worked in medical lab sales for many years.

Kathy was devoted to her husband and family. She was a kind, generous and loving person who, with her husband, enjoyed hosting family gatherings at their home. She delighted in the family’s annual trip to Cape Cod. She was a talented jewelry crafter and scrapbooker. Above all, Kathy was a loving mother who took great pride in her children’s accomplishments.

There are no calling hours.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Saint Joseph’s Church, 198 Oxford St. North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery Auburn.
