LEICESTER, Mass. – Edward Boisvert, 87, of Spencer and formerly of Worcester died on Monday, Oct. 15 in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.
Mr. Boisvert is survived by his wife, Claire L. (Letendre) Boisevert; two sons, Paul L. Boisvert of San Diego, CA and Louie Boisvert of New York; two daughters, Christine Mitchell of Rhode Island and Diane Krouner of Douglas; five brothers, Donald Boisvert of Leicester, Leo Boisvert of Florida, Joseph Boisvert of Worcester, Armand Boisvert of North Uxbridge and Roger Boisvert of Montreal, Canada; three sisters, Pauline Gregoire of Auburn, Therese Ogris of Ontario, Canada and Celine Kallanian of Auburn; nine grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Edward was born in Worcester, son of the late Ovila and Marie (Thibeault) Boisvert. He worked as a welder for the Wyman Gordon Company at its Grafton Plant for 21 years until he retired in 1991. Eddy was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church in East Brookfield. He loved his puzzle making and playing card games with his family as well as looking forward to his many trips to Foxwoods.
Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20th in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester.
