AUBURN, Mass. – Jeanette B. Pisinski Meduski, formerly of Auburn and Worcester, died Jan. 22 at Life Care Center of Auburn. She was 86.
Meduski was born March 27, 1926, and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Alexander and Valeria Wardenski Pisinski. She graduated from High School of Commerce in Worcester and the Worcester School of Business Science.
She worked in bookkeeping and as a payroll clerk for many years for local companies, including David Clark Co. and the Worcester Housing Authority. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester and the Polish Women's Business Club.
Meduski enjoyed searching for collectibles and going to flea markets. She was most recently of Charlton, Mass.
She is survived by husband of 57 years, Edmund B. Meduski; four children, Michael (Mary) Meduski, of Princeton Junction, N.J., Valerie (Mark) McKamey, of Windsor, Calif., Carolyn Meduski, of Glendale, Calif., and William (Gina) Meduski, of Worcester; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine siblings, Alexander, Stephen, Henry, Joseph, Victor and John Pisinski and Lucy Brown, Helen Morawski and Ann Benton.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home in Worcester handled arrangements.
