WORCESTER COUNTY – Worcester County is expected to be walloped by a powerful snowstorm Friday morning, just one day after the 35th anniversary of the Blizzard of '78.
While it's not expected to match up to the legendary storm, which hit Feb. 6 and 7 in 1978, shutting down the region for days, this storm may bring up to 2 feet of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
