MILLBURY, Mass. — “Spooky Acres, Haunted Hayride” returns on the weekends of Oct. 19-20 and Oct. 26-27 at the Millbury Youth Camp, 23 Herricks Lane.

Run by Paul Gasco and his family, Spooky Acres is always a town favorite as the owners change up the scenes and add cool special effects. Last year they did some 3-D effects and if that was any indication, the Gasco’s will be sure to have even more surprises on the schedule.

Besides the haunted hayride, the 13 acre camp is used for an Easter Egg Hunt, the Chain of Lights and has a building, which holds up to 60 people, which can be rented for special occasions.

Spooky Acres normally has around 70 people working the hayride, Gasco told the Millbury Daily Voice last year.

So this weekend, be very leery about walking in the dark near Herricks Lane, because the woods will be packed with ghouls, ghostly spectors and many other eerie creatures that go bump in the night.

There will be food available in the Witches Kitchen, music and plenty of fun for the entire family.

The Hayride will run each night from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $10 for kids and adults; $8 seniors and students (with school ID); children under 4 admitted free.
