LEICESTER, Mass. — The Leicester Police Department is searching for a Leicester resident reported missing by his family, and are asking residents to contact them with any information regarding his whereabouts.
Fredrick Rocha, 39, left for work on May 11, and has not returned to the Leicester address where he was staying, nor has he been heard from since.
The Leicester Police Department has been investigating the case, and after following up at locations where Rocha frequents have not confirmed any contact since last Friday.
Leicester Police Chief Jim Hurley indicated that there is no information leading the department to believe there has been any foul play, or that any harm has come to Rocha.
"We're just trying to confirm he's all right," said Hurley, adding that departments in the region have been notified of Rocha's missing person status, and an LPD detective has been assigned to the case.
Hurley said the department is currently following up on a potential sighting of Rocha a few days ago.
Rocha has been described as a white male, age 39, standing at 5' 8'' and 150 lbs, with light skin, red hair and grey eyes.
Anyone with information about Rocha's whereabouts should contact the Leicester Police Department at 508-892-7010.
