AUBURN, Mass. — Take a look at the photo files for 2012 and you'll notice a common theme: There are a lot of pictures of Auburn students cheering.

There are football players celebrating their fifth-straight Super Bowl title, baseball players winning the district crown and the golf team winning a trophy, as well. Students celebrated their graduation in June and kindergartners were excited for their first day of school in August.
The news was not always happy: a high school student died in a car crash and, for the second year in a row, a hurricane knocked out power.
