Auburn Firefighters Assist Oxford In Two Alarm

OXFORD, Mass. - On Monday morning at 7:54 a.m. Auburn Firefighters provided mutual aid to Oxford to assist at a two alarm fire at 125 Federal Hill Rd., Eagle Leasing Company.

According to Auburn Fire Chief Stephen Coleman Jr., the fire formed in a twenty-four foot conex container full of oak planking used for the flooring of the storage units. Firefighters manually offloaded the remaining contents of the trailer that were still burning.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Oxford Fire department and a Trooper from the state Fire Marshals Office.
