AUBURN, Mass. — Auburn's "Pom Pom Zombies" actors gave The Daily Voice a sneak peek of their Friday night musical by performing their opening song (above).
Cheerleader zombies will be taking the stage Friday night at Auburn High School in a free musical for the public.
The 7 p.m. performance will feature 30 kids from ages 8 to 14. Christine Taylor, director of the Auburn Summer Youth Theater Program, said there are two weeks of five-hour practices for the musical.
“This show is very funny, and it has a little bit of something for everyone,” Taylor said. “I think especially the adults in our community will really appreciate it. We’re looking forward to it, and the kids are really excited.”
The musical is described as a cross between a 1960s beach blanket movie and a B-Horror, sci-fi film of that time.
