AUBURN, Mass. – Auburn Town Manager Julie Jacobson helped fire a Civil War cannon at the Fourth of July celebration June 30 in Auburn.
The cannon is from 1862, and there's a complicated 10-step process to load and then fire it.
In addition to Jacobson, state Sen. Michael Moore, state Rep. Paul Frost, Selectmen Steve Simonian, Robert Grossman, Denise Brotherton, school committee member Wayne Page and others helped fire the cannon.
