Main Street Connect Massachusetts recently presented Amazon Kindle Fires to 10 of their randomly chosen readers.

All daily email subscribers in Massachusetts who were registered with Main Street Connect as of Feb. 15 were eligible to win one of the 10 Kindle Fires.  Registered readers of Main Street Connect receive a daily email that is filled with the news from their respective towns.

“I like that the local news is pushed to me as an email everyday," said Kathleen Keohane of Shrewsbury. "It’s convenient, covers everything that I need to know and it’s timely.  I also like the fact that I can see what is going on in the towns around us like Westborough, Grafton and Northborough -- towns where we have good friends.”

Deena Perro of Leicester said, “I love getting the daily email! Without it, I’m not so sure that I would know everything that is going on in our town. It allows me to link into the other towns around us and see what is going on there as well.”

This promotion also brought attention to Main Street Connect’s URGENT Community Message System. This allows Main Street Connect readers who are registered with Main Street Connect to receive vital information instantly concerning urgent news that is happening in their town.

“The URGENT Community Message System service is extremely popular and has become the most effective way to communicate pertinent information immediately," said Jack Schofield, the Publisher of Main Street Connect Massachusetts. "It is a service that over 10,000 of our readers have subscribed to, and truly value. Congratulations to the 10 winners!"

The promotion concluded on Feb. 15.  All registered readers of Main Street Connect in Massachusetts were eligible to win a Kindle Fire and were randomly selected.
